Ping Phil P. Cats' Weight Loss
My vet wants Sammy (15 month old female DLH moggie - but I'd swear Maine
Coon) to lose 1 pound - but wants all my other cats to stay the same weight. This has been a trial for me, but we are making progress. Since 7/18/2005 Sammy has lost .25 pounds. *BUT* Bandit and Jessie have also lost weight - .05 pounds each (Demi has stayed the same weight - although it has fluctuated slightly over the three weeks). I am weighing them at exactly 11:00AM every Monday. Questions... Is Sammy losing fast enough or too fast (.25 pounds over three weeks - she started at 15.15 pounds and is now 14.90 pounds)? Should I be worried about Bandit and Jessie losing .05 pounds? Bandit started at 9.45 pounds and is now 9.40 pounds and Jessie started at 7.65 pounds and is now 7.60 pounds. Hugs, CatNipped |
