comes.
He looks very much like my Tiger.

Tiger is 6 and weights 23.6 pounds. I think he is a Maine Coon and it
looks like Kona was at least part Maine Coon too.

You're right-they look like relatives. I think Tiger is gorgeous. The
thought of what it would have looked like if they had been able to be
in the same room together makes me smile. Of course, each one would
have needed his own chair. :-)

Many thanks to everyone for all the kind thoughts.

I had to let Kona go to the Bridge Tuesday night.

Around the beginning of July he developed a swelling in the side of his
face, some discharge from his nose, a bit of difficulty breathing
through his nose and a high fever. snip

You did the best for him. It's so hard to do the right thing, I've felt
like I've failed them. Purrs from here.

So sorry to hear about Kona. You did the right thing, even if it
was painful. He loved you so much.

Hugs,
Jane

I am very sorry to read about your Kona. We will light a candle for
him, and send heartache-easing purrs to you.

He was just a really, really wonderful, sweet guy.
I'm so grateful for the time he was able to share with me but I miss
him so much and I have that empty feeling now when I come home and he
isn't there waiting for me.

{{{{HUGS}}}} I'm so sorry to hear about your boy.

The only consolation in your grief is that he was spoiled and pampered
and love in his final years. We'll light a candle for him.
