A furry welcome
Yesterday I did a couple of hours on my bike. Not far, only about 24 miles.
When I got back home, a furry one-eyed feline ran to meet me as I pulled up at home. Today I did a thoroughly enjoyable 60 miles in thunder, wind & rain. It took a bit longer than a couple of hours As I pulled up at home, once again, a furry, one-eyed feline came running out of the house to meet me, meowing a greeting, followed by a swift headbutting of my legs accompanied by loud purring and a wrapping of tail about my shin. So I've had a several of hours out on my bike in throughly *invigorating* weather with a wonderful welcome as soon as I arrived home. Now she's curled up on the seat next to me, purring contentedly. Love that cat. |
