Default Amazing story -- Corky the cat gets surgery to correct legs

This really is a remarkable story. Corky has a congenital deformity called
“Bilateral Arthrogryposis,” which basically means that his back legs were
backward and crisscrossed. Most cats with this deformity are euthanized,
but Corky was adopted by two women who are founders and directors of a
shelter. They located a vet who basically invented surgery to correct the
defect. Donations for the surgery poured in from around the world. They
believe he’ll be able to walk again, although not like a most cats can due
to the steel plates that are now in his legs.

Lengthy article and pictures can be seen he

This is a great surgery. I've seen pictures of cats with this condition
before, so it must not be uncommon. From his after picture, it looks like
he may be able to walk and use a litter box now!
