I wonder, and I ponder, way above the front yard,
Why climbing up's so easy, but getting down's hard!
I'm stuck in this treetop, so high and so far,
And I wonder 'bout missing dinner; will I possibly starve?

The last time I climbed here I couldn't get down,
So I meowed and I meowed 'til some hoomins came round.
And they called for a fire truck with ladders so long,
And news of my rescue was the talk of the town!

So I'm stuck up a tree and I hope you don't laugh,
'cuz I'ze chasing a burdee swimming in the burd bath.
When it flew to the treetop, I had to chase aff....
'ter it 'til I got stuck here; now your thinking I'm daft.

But that burdee looked tasty, and I just couldn't see,
Letting food slip away, not a bite had by me.
Now I'm stuck in this treetop, please have some pity,
Won't you come to my rescue? What rewards there MIGHT be!?!?
