I've never seen a cat so besotted with another cat like Viktor is with
Caliban, not even siblings from the same litter. Caliban doesn't seem to
mind, either.

Generally when two of mine start grooming it ends up in a fight.

I think you need a bigger bed that will accommodate a three way grooming
session.

Did it seem like Viktor, and Caliban and Miranda remembered each other from
when you were in the hospital?

Viktor definitely remembered Caliban, and I think Caliban must have
remembered him. It's hard to tell with Miranda, since she hisses at any
cat that's not Caliban, whether she's seen them before or not.

She doesn't seem jealous. She mostly ignores them when they're like
this. I think she's even a bit relieved that Viktor is here to deflect
Caliban when she doesn't feel like playing (he's sometimes too rough for
her). Caliban and Viktor are perfectly matched against each other in a
wrestling match.

Mir and Caliban do still cuddle with each other just as before. They
used to spend mornings until noonish together on the cat tower, and
afternoons in separate sleeping spots, and they still do, only now,
Viktor sometimes joins Caliban in his afternoon sleeping spot.
