Foiled again
The cats are not allowed in the bedroom. The cats are not allowed on
the bed. The cats are not allowed on the pillows. Yesterday I found Ripley and Annie in the bedroom, on the bed. It's been very cold here, and they're fed up of being inside, so I cut them some slack, and threw my dressing gown on top of the pillows to protect them from cat fur, it was due a wash anyway. A couple of hours later, Ade got home from work and went into the bedroom, I heard him yell, then start to laugh. I investigated. Ripley was on the bed, there was no sign of Annie. Ade smiled and gently lifted a corner of the dressing gown covering the pillow ... Annie was snuggled very comfortably on top of the pillow, under the dressing gown. I give up. Jeanette |

Jeanette Reminds me of when I saw my allergist a few years ago, who was mildly concerned that I owned THREE cats while i was allergic to cats. His advice was simple, "just keep the cats out of the bedroom" to which i tried very hard not to laugh in his face. Technically it's THEIR bed, they just allow me and the bf to sleep in it. Kristi |

Kristi I'm allowed a whole sliver, which just about fits me perfectly, while surrounded by fur lumps. |

Jeanette Attitudes about cats on beds vary widely. It took me almost a month after Lindy went to the Bridge before I could coax Waffles and Pickles onto my bed, because Lindy hadn't allowed them there. They do sleep on the foot of the bed at least part of the night, but neither of them is a snuggler the way Nanki-Poo (RB) was. I really miss that. Joy |
