Default That's not they way to inhale catnip!

In our household, we have several cats who like catnip, and one who we
jokingly refer to as a "nip-head" (Pixel). Last night, we 'nipped the
kids, and Pixel was especially enjoying it. Then he did something that
made us laugh. I looked up from what I was doing to see Pixel scooching
his behind over the catnip pile.

Pix, that is NOT the orifice to use to get the catnip into your system!
Trust me. Catnip goes in the front, other (stinky) things come out the
back!

After we got done laughing, I asked Carol if maybe he wanted something
to make it easier on him to clean down there. Pix was a gassy kitten,
and his droppings are still pungent. Maybe the catnip oils will make the
job of cleaning his behind a bit less odorous.

Anyone else have a cat who does this? Any thoughts? Is Pix just
certifiably strange?
