There's a pic there, and a link to a video!

But I do hope that they are getting KMR as doggy-milk is different than
kitty-milk!

and CYOOOT KITTIES!!

I went to high school in Canton, Massachusetts, the next town over from
Stoughton (pronounced "stow-t'n").

I noticed that "Mama Dog" was keeping a careful eye on the camera
person, to make sure that he or she didn't get too close to her
kittens.

:-) That's great. Dogs can be a huge help in raising orphan kittens, the
human foster mum can get the milk into them, and the dog takes
responsibility for licking them to encourage them to defecate and urinate,
and also keeps them warm and clean. The regular contact with a warm body has
to help too. A few years ago I had a phone call from a lady who had found a
litter of orphaned feral kittens, and she explained that she was NOT a cat
person, and already had a German Shepherd bitch and a family of kids of her
own to look after ... so I suggested that she try the kittens with the dog,
and teach the children how to bottle feed them. It all worked out really
well, and she successfully rehomed all but one of the kittens. She kept one
:-) I guess she became a cat person after all.

Love

Jeanette

Thanks, Nancy-- It's good to see the good side of these dogs
publicized for once. I am fiercely prejudiced in favor of pit bulls--
I have known so many sweet, kind ones

But it's still better for kittens than cow's milk!

Heartwarming photo, especially since pit bulls often have so much negative
written about them.
