Default Meghan.. give me a call.. still a problem cat in St. Paul (was: cat introduction)

Hi Meghan. You phoned me earlier this Fall to offer help with Henry,
our adopted cat.

I sent a post to this group under a pseudonym so I'm not sure you knew
who I was.

Short story: Henry was adopted in August as a sick, bedraggled stray.
Sequestered for several weeks, we began the slow introduction, and he
very quickly focused on our other long-haired, Maine Coon clone, 10
year old Tiger as a cat to be killed. In the meantime, our otherwise
peaceable 2-yr-old Bengal decided that Henry was a mortal enemy and
should be killed immediately. (Henry got loose a few weeks ago from
our upstairs bedroom. As he trotted downstairs the Bengal, Louis,
noticed him from upstairs. Louis ran down about two steps and suddenly
turned into an Exocet Missile aimed directly at Henry. He never
touched another step, and dove right at him - 8 lb Bengal vs 16 lb
mutt - Points to Louis for his bravery, but that's not a household we
want to live in..).

You called and offered help - and I've lost your number. We live in
St. Paul and my email address in this post is valid.

Henry is the sweetest cat I've ever known. Big fuzzy friendly animal,
he'll hop on your chest and snuggle to your neck in a second. We've
just botched the introduction.

Henry's a little under 2 yrs old, a bit younger than Louis. Tiger
(Louis' best friend in the world) will most likely die before Louis.
We would so like to have a nice cat ecology where Louis and Henry were
friends.

Hope you see this post and can call me -- 651-226-5465.

Thanks.

BLink

PS: Sometimes it's really hard to love cats. =(
