Shana-Hyperthyroidism - Wld appreciate feedback
Well, she's put me thru hepatitus, hypertension, & now Hyperthyroidism!
And I didn't even raise her from kittenhood - she's inherited from when my mom passed away! But .... she "owns" me hook-line-and sinker even though she's put me thru some very 'trying', confusing & scarey times. My new dx with her shows her T4 = 5.8 (ranges 1.0-5.0) She has some other #'s that are not much out of the ranges, but she is someone symptomatic & since she's gone thru so much & I'm finally learning about her blood tests, I feel I don't want to wait until her # ranges increase. I'm looking for feedback & others experiences. I will be picking up her Methimazole (Tapazole) on Monday. I did also look up the side affects of this med (until it's properly regulated for her). Thanx Joan |
