Default OT Pale Male and Lola Update

NYC's famous couple of red-tailed hawks appear to have eggs in their
nest, according to this morning's news-- a real sign of spring. PM
and Lola did not successfully produce young last year-- probably from
all the disruption when their nest was removed in the winter of
2004-05. But they were observed in their customary mating flights
over 5th Avenue and Central Park over the past ferw weeks, and the
eggs are apparently there. If all goes well, there should be adorably
ugly little fluffballs in the nest next month.

Thanks so much for that news. In the hectic-ness of RL I had forgotten all
about them. This is news I look forward to each early Spring. Thanks again
for the reminder!

That's wonderful news! Thanks for posting the update, I had been wondering
about them lately.
