Tessie is a little hoolikitten... but she has accepted that Silver is
THE BOSS (but can be played with, batted at, chased and asked to chase
in return), and she has realised that Scouty is NOT TO BE DISTURBED AT
ANY COSTS. We let her out all day last week and she was very good
until it was time to shut her up again for the night when she started
howling for attention and throwing herself at the door... next night
we just left her out and she was fine - it made everyone much happier
because she could sleep on the couch and run around and play and get
into mischief, and Scouty could go into 'her' room. The only problem
now is that Tessie is irresistably curious about the Big Out. Whenever
somebody walks past she runs to the window to look, and if you open
the front door she runs towards it... the other day I repainted the
front door and I had to open it and check that it wasn't painted shut
- it was only open for a minute and I turned around and there was a
little black shape on the outside of it! I had to chase her all the
way down the landing to the stairs and I picked her up when she was
peering under the railing at the end and apparantly trying to decide
whether she wanted to jump down (from the second story!)
Sheesh!

This photo was taken last week when I brought home a new cattoy, the
pompom on a stick. It was meant for Tessie, as a toy that she couldn't
lose under the furniture, but Scouty and Silver love it.

This was a few days ago when Scouty was starting to reclaim her
craftroom... she jumped into the box and Tessie and she peered at each
other over the top.

What a beautiful bunch of pussy cats. They are all so sleek and look well
fed. Purrs that they will remain best friends. MLB

Hi Karen,

Glad to see you back and posting! And that your kitties seem to be
co-existing reasonably well. Great pictures!

ROFL! I love Scout's expression here! So glad to see the girls are
starting to co-exist somewhat peacefully. It looks like they are all
playing together.

Congratulations! You've done it! Don't worry, four months after introducing
my two, they still have their bad days, so yours are doing wonderfully!!
Well done and nice to have you back.

Great pictures and congrats on the integration! I'm still going thru a few
hisses and slaps with Pua and Chloe, but I had both of them on the bed with
me last night, which is a huge step. Looks like your kids are doing well.

Well, that didn't take long, did it? Good on ya! I think it just seems
impossible to integrate them right at the start when things are just mayhem
all the time. But given time things will work out for themselves. What a
beautiful looking family you have there. God bless you all.
