Update on Bubbas
Thanks everyone for their kind words when I posted a few days ago.
Bubbas has been diagnosed with malignant histiocytosis. (A good layman's description can be found he http://www.xs4all.nl/~gvdt57/histiocytosis.html). Basically it's a rare very aggressive form of cancer that is nearly always fatal. We've been given a prognosis of days to weeks for Bubbas to live. He's comfortable, on a morphine patch and is being given anything that appeals to his appetite, as he's not eating well. I can't even begin to tell you how hard this is, he's the first dog I've had since I was a kid and just fit in so perfectly with me, and the cats and just made my day whenever he saw me, he'd wag his tail and just get so excited. I don't know what I'm going to do. Everyone, hug your pets and let them know how much you love them, you just never know... Love, K |

I'm very sorry. :-( I hope that at least it'll be weeks instead of days,
as long as the morphine can keep him comfortable. Cathy -- "Staccato signals of constant information..." ("The Boy in the Bubble") Paul Simon "Karen M." wrote in message ...
