It's so hard to tell when they are so "high maintenance" otherwise. I
mean, she's a PRINCESS and don't I understand how to treat ROYALTY?

We know, what with the declawing and other nonsense you have put her
through just so your nylons don't get runs.

Okay, bad for kidneys but no worse than not eating, she got a McD
burger patty again. Well, a little less than half. Only what was
necessary. Feliway was a help, too.

BTW, I don't think I ever posted about "feet of clay." Kami had some
litter stuck to her hind paws and I ran them under the faucet to get it
off. She acting like I was killing her and wouldn't allow me to dry
them. Ran off doing that odd "wet feet" dance.

About an hour later she came out again with litter totally caked to her
two hind paws and REALLY doing the dance. She apparently got back into
the box with her wet feet and they were completely covered with clump
litter. It was hysterical and I accidentally laughed out loud. You
know how easily cats are humiliated.

Anyway, I cleaned them off again and closed the door to the box until
she was dry.

Yeah, you are trying and failing miserably.

Take your complaints about Steve to email.

They do not concern the group.

ahem

I am pointing out to the group a history here that not everyone may be
aware of or want to do the extensive digging to find out since Missy B
has placed the "X-No-Archive: yes".

She was caught contradicting herself many times until she decided the
solution was the "X-No-Archive: yes" to prevent the archiving of posts
into Google.

I consider it a public service annoucement.

No explanation needed, Joe! If you want to wallow around in "Do as I
say, not as I do" hypocrisy, who am I to meddle?

So, Joe - do you actually charge Brandy for her occupancy of your head,
or is it a rent free deal?

Steve.

I can see Joe's point. It is disgusting to have a cat declawed
for any reason--including Brandy's--that Kami's her scratches
showed up in her porno pics. It's annoying to have her show up
and masquerade as a cat lover.

Meanwhile, you seem to like to post about how people post
more than you like to post about cats, eh Stevie?

That's one of Joe's (or Phil's?) lies. They're obsessed with me being
in porn and attribute my every move and thought to it.

So you did not declaw Kami? Or you did not declaw her because of
scratch marks in photos? I have never seen you deny this before.

The part that bugs me about declawing this particular cat really
disturbs me since we got Bosley. Brandy claimed Kami would visciously
attack her, the UPS guy, blah blah blah.
So did Bosley. Bosley was so wild he not only attacked me, but he would
*climb* the door facings when he'd have these aggressive spells.
Bosley was overstimulated. His owner played too rough with him, teased
him, talked in a loud voice to him.
It took a *month* of isolation from the other cats, and showing him
*nothing* but gentleness and leaving the room when he got mean for him
to settle down. But he DID. He is the SWEETEST cat now. But you *still*
have to watch his ears and tail, and leave him alone when he's had
enough attention.
So, I can't believe, now, that any cat's aggression can't be controlled
without declaw. I just don't.

Most of the time I don't see the comments becuase others know better
than to respond to the trolls and attacks. Only when they are quoted
in a post from someone who's not killfiled do I ever know what's going,
save the occasional email saying I should look.

Kami was declawed nearly 14 years ago. Attitudes were entirely
different, or the negative ones not widespread, at the time.

So you did declaw her. Did you know what it entailed? And why did you?

No, not really.

Not really? Either you understood that it was the amputation of the
first joint of her toes or not.
