Thunder, lightning and snow again. At my home. we have about 3 inches
again and it's cold. We are purring for all the kitties and outside
animals to find shelter. The news said power sis out to thousands of
homes and roof and trees were blown off in the high winds late today.\

Yikes! I'm sure you've mentioned it repeatedly, but my memory isn't
that good. Where are you located?

Purrs for all people and animals.

Salt Lake City, Utah, the heart of the
Rockies. It is sunny and bright today, but cold.I've had my
fill of winter -- I want Spring! MLB

You are so going to hate me. In North Carolina it is currently (at abt 3
pm Eastern Standard Time) it is 69 F cloudy and no rain is expected.
Speedy D*g has killed his first wild bunny of the year. He sublet his
igloo condo to the stray and feral cats this winter and I saw one of
them in the neighbor's yard a couple of days ago. No flowers blooming
yet. Amanda Lynn, my DIL, went through 3 to 4 days of non-productive
labor and is back at the kids' townhouse after they stopped the labor.
She dialited

Hit the wrong button. She is dialated about 2 cm and holding. However,
we have more news. I'll start a separate post for that.

Pam S. really glad to be back

Best delivery wishes to DIL. MLB

So do I! But we'll have to wait another few months, I'm afraid. We've
had record freezes in northern Finland (they had -40C (-40F) yesterday),
and it's cold here in the south, too; -22C (-7F) + the icy wind from the
sea.

I can't help but wonder how the Finns ever keep their homes warm with
the sub-zero temps? This has been a long, hard winter for all. I
always say that Utah has two temperatures: too hot and too cold. Keep
those furbabes happy. Best wishes. MLB

Withstanding the cold is the priority when we build our houses. This
means thick insulation and triple-glazed windows. Efficient heaters.

The cats are not happy that their enclosure is still full of snow and
cold. They complain about it to the management (me) every day, but as I
try to explain to them, there's nothing I can do about it.

When Fugazi and Isis were with us they used to complain about hot
weather after all they seemed to have worked out when it is cold you
switch the warm thing on- couldn't we just turn it off now please and
if not, why not?!

We had temps in the 70s (F) here today and I let the gang out. Funny
thing is they don't like to stay out long. Maybe it's too boring.

We're about to get the winds MLB was talking about. It's not going to
be as cold, but not the 70s we had today, but the wind is going to be
hurricane strength gusts. Not looking forward to that. Hoping the
power stays on.
