Default Bengals

I dropped in to the Lothian Cat Rescue shelter today - I had a large
bag of specialist cat food, surplus from a closed vet's surgery,
which wasn't appropriate for our lot. So I had a wander around to
meet the residents.

One of them was just amazing - a Bengal/shorthair cross called Ricco
(he wasn't on the website when I last looked). The non-Bengal parent
must have been just like my Muriel (died about 10 years ago) - she
was a silver tabby British shorthair, and despite her fur being short
it was massively thick and she shed fluff all the time, everywhere.

Anyway, he was much bigger than Muriel (looked rather like a lynx)
and HUGELY vocal, as well as being dead friendly. Meowed to me at
earsplitting volume and then wiped himself round my legs leaving
my trousers coated with grey fluff. Muriel was pushy enough, but
Ricco is in a different league.

He'll probably find a home pretty quick, as an only cat with someone
who doesn't mind catering to his every whim 24/7. He obviously wouldn't
fit in with ours - nofurry else would be allowed any attention.

Are all Bengals like that?
