Default Chatty Bengals

The discussion about vocal cats reminded me of some videos I saw by a
Bengal breeder with some very talkative cats.

This kitten for example, likes to talk with her mouth full:

I played another one - Daddy cat and his 3-week-old daughter - and all my
owners came running to see where the new kitten was!

She would catch anyone's attention. It's too bad that this particular
one didn't make it out of kittenhood - she apparently got sick a while
back and went to RB.

LOL! Reminds me of when Frank had been missing for five weeks and I
found him again. All he did for a few days was eat and sleep, but he
also needed to tell me all about his adventures, and he couldn't tell me
while sleeping, so he had to do it while eating. He would meow
constantly while he ate, even with his mouth full.

Beware what you wish for! Our girls Luna and Maya are bengals and let me
tell you, they are a handful!!! They're way too smart for their own good!

When he saw the alternative, he knew very well that he was always
happiest when he was at home with his hoomin.

That was too adorable. Daddy trailing around after his little girl,
just like a daddy at the playground. What a sweet daddy he is!

It makes me wonder about the difference between tomcats that kill
kittens and ones that nurture them. In a natural state, tomcats are
supposedly not friendly to kittens, and many automatically try to kill
them-- and many don't recognize their own. Momcats have to protect
kittens from their own fathers.
But for years there was an extended family of ferals on the property
next door to us, and many times I saw the Dadcats kittensitting while
the Moms went hunting.
