Cat Puffing up for any real reason?
My roommate has recently been experiencing behavior with his cat where
she will puff up in front of him. She didn't seem like she was aggressive or too unhappy, and he is able to pet her. Any ideas why this could be? She lives in a household with another cat and dog - could this be her way of exhibiting dominance? |

It could be, or maybe there's something the humans are not aware of that is bothering the cat, like a bug or something. I wouldn't worry about it unless she was displaying other signs of being agitated (ears back, tail shaking, etc) -Kelly |
