Default Crockett and his sofa

Cat rescued after spending five days inside a sofa sold by a charity
shop:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-26864309

You'd think his humans would have got the message that he *really*
didn't want that sofa to go.

Maybe it was his favourite napping spot. I'll bet the new owners of the
sofa were surprised to hear it meow! I'm glad it ended well and
Crockett was reunited with his family.

Yeah. Lucky thing that all humans involved were decent people.

But I have to wonder why people in the store didn't hear meowing?

It's possible the second-hand shop is busy (read: noisy). Too bad he
didn't put up a fuss sooner. All's well that ends well!

It's also possible that he was scared, especially if it was noisy, and
kept quiet while he was there.

I'm sure the Crockettt had no idea when he snuck inside the sofa he was
going on a journey! Loaded onto a truck, carried off a truck, into a
shop. I'm sure there were all sorts of people walking around it,
talking, sitting on it. Then it gets moved again! The poor thing had
to be scared.

Good thing the cat was found after 5 long days. Glad to know she's reunited with the family now.
