uncomfortable. Hiding, huddling, licking her lips. So, when I went to
pick her up, they wanted to keep her overnight. She had had some xrays
earlier and both vets were very concerned. Her intestines looked like
this certain condition (I can't remember what it is called) where the
intestines fold in on themselves, but this is very rare and they said
she didn't act sick enough if that is what it is. They wanted to take
more xrays tonight and the one on the side still looked like it, but the
xray from on her back did not. So they want to keep her overnight and do
it again in the morning to see how it looks, hoping that if it is any
stool that was making it look that way it would have moved on. She did
for sure have some kind of infection because her white count is a bit
too high. So, for sure that probably would cause nausea. So any purrs
for Sugar for clear xrays that don't show this rare condition (that the
vet said would be very VERY bad if she had it) would be much
appreciated. I begin to think I am cursed when it comes to my cats.

Oh dear, Karen. Poor Sugar. We will send tons of purrs and prayers that
it's nothing serious and that she is better and more comfortable soon.
Hand in there.

Karen, you're not a curse. If this is a rare condition, chances are
that they are being conservative. Purrs and more and more purrs for
Sugar and for you!

You're the best kitty companion and you notice things before they get
bad. I think Usenet is a good thing because in the past we probably
wouldn't notice some things. Like being under the bed. And, everyone
says cats throw up.

Purrs for Sugar and you.

Oh, no, Karen. Lots of purrs on the way for Sugar and you. Sincerely
hoping it's not what the vets fear.

Karen,

I believe that the cats who need you the most, find you. Maybe you are
very caring and have extra patience with cats who need help, and that's
why they're with you.

Hope she's feeling better.

Rhonda

that's just experience with Sugar. I know how quickly nausea gets out
of hand with her. Poor baby. I keep thinking of her there in a strange
place. At least I know that the vets and techs are there quite late and
in very early and she can sleep unmolested. I tend to "hover" an awful
lot when she isn't feeling well.
