Default Kami Likes Tenors

Strange observation this morning. We were watching a news program and
at the end they were doing a pice about who died this week (how morbid
is that?) Kami was sitting "Princess Sphinx" style on the floor and
about to doze off when a clip of a tenor who pass came on with a sample
of his work. She lifted her head and watched the whole thing as long
as the music was on, and went back to distration when it stopped.

It's only interesting because I'm a baritone fan, myself.

Shadow is a Bette Midler fan, more specifically "wind beneath my wings". I
noticed one time when the movie Beaches was on that he was "singing" along
(very sad sound since he can barely meow, let alone sing). Since then, I
sing it to him every now and then and his reaction is hysterical. Purring,
rubbing against me, jumping up so he can stick his face in mine; he'll run
from wherever in the house he is to come listen. He's normally a very
sedintary cat who prefers to sleep more than anything else, and is only very
occasionally affectionate.
