Default Help my Cat's tongue is hanging, UPDATE

Hi again - I hope you can recall this post that I left approx. 1 month
ago.
In short my cats tongue was hanging out and she was drooling quite a
bit, but still eating sleeping and acting normal pretty much. I took
her to the vet and he removed a tooth. Sent me home with medicine.
Soon she should be ok!!
Well 2 weeks past and she (Blackie) only got worst.. eating became
painful as she would paw at her month - both hands like a horse trying
to get a bit out of her mouth. And the drooling never stopped, so I
took her back in, the Vet said "she is worst than the last time she was
there", and declared she had Cancer in the lower jaw, thus causing
pressure on the back of the throat, and this is why her tongue was
hanging out along with the other problems she was having, at the end she
would just walk and walk, around and around she must have been in pain.
So I made the hardest decision of my life and had her Euthanize.
I just wanted to let you know so if this came up again you could share
the info. You helped me, when I needed it - so thanks again.

Blackie I love you - rest in peace.

I'm so sorry you lost her. You gave her the greatest
gift--mercy. She would have suffered terribly and
you spared her that. You're a good Mom.
