Crystal Tag and Pet Link?

Are these companies still around? After getting a microchip implanted,
I went to http://www.petlink.net/ and it mentions a $11.95 fee to
register, but the site allowed me to register without paying a cent.
The comments in the HTML of the site show that the current version of
the web site was created over a year ago, but still 3 of the main
buttons take you to "Coming soon" pages. I then went to the Contact Us
page, click on the "click here" and it pulled up the email address
, but when I emailed it, I received a "user unknown"

I then went over to http://www.crystaltag.com/, the comments in their
HTML show that the current version of their site was created over 6
months ago, yet not all of their links to their own web pages work and
their "Email Us" link just has "#".

Just wondering if anyone knows if they are still around or if my vet
(or really just my vet's customer's) are getting ripped off?
