Default Indiana Feral Park Cats: Final Update (I hope)

Apologies for taking so long to post this (hopefully) final update on
the feral park cats in Richmond, Indiana.

Ironically, it was politics that solved the problem. A new mayor was
elected, and she even (while campaigning) went out with the caretakers
and helped feed the ferals! She has since worked with the caretakers
and they have an agreement that they will be left alone to do what
they need to do for the cats.

I'm sure all your calls, e-mails and letters helped make a difference.
I suspect this issue was the defining one in the election, in fact.

There is an excellent summary of what has happened at the following

Thank you so much for taking your time and energy to help these cats.
May they continue to have a happy future.

Ginger-lyn

Wow, what a heartwarming outcome. There is nothing like support of the
local powers-that-be for feral programs. We've been lucky here in
Santa Clara County that our county goverment has been supportive
(including with $$) for TNR programs
