I have heard of Thunderbird. It's apparently named after the REALLY
cheap wine favored by the homeless and other hard core alcoholics:

It's an interesting website with write ups on the cheap alcohol favored
by the down and out....and poor college students, like myself, decades
ago. I bought Mad Dog 20/20; it was REALLY cheap, back then

That aside: I downloaded Thunderbird a few years ago, and I couldn't
even get it to work for my E-mail, much less Usenet.

I hate trying to set up new software. The 'help' files are generally
close to worthless, and I basically have to spend hours, trying to find
the SINGLE thing I need to enable, hidden 4 layers down in a menu with a
name designed to mislead people like me

That's after you've set it up in Tool-Account Settings -Manage
Identies (then add one for each kitty).

Check the docs. In Dialog, there is a a default identity for each
subscribed group, and then a pull-down to change it manually for each post.
It may be the same.
