That's hilarious- old is when you meet a friend's wife and realise
she's the "Mel" that a friend of yours used to run home to tuck into
bed when she was a toddler!

The first time I felt really was when my brother's step-daughters
little girl asked who I was and my niece said "That's grand-dad's
sister". I wasn't even 25 at the time! (My SIL is 12 years older than
my brother and had 2 daughters when they met)

I felt old a few years ago when the kids next door introduced their
grandmother, she was two years younger than me.
