Update on the lost Tibb
We set out a trap last night and stayed up until 3:45 a.m. We caught 2
cats, but not Tibb. I am getting scaired. The 2 we caught were small and very lively. Tibb is 15 years old. He can run, but nothing like the 2 we caught. Everyone in the campground is seeing and hearing cats! Kathy |

This was very frightening because he was an indoor cat, and I had moved to a new apartment just a few days before. So, I did not know if he would recognize that apartment as "home." In addition to some of the other suggestions that have been made, here is what I did. I left the front door open just a small amount--enough for a cat to enter but not a person--and I pushed a chair up against the door so I would hear it if the door were pushed open. I put his favorite canned food in a bowl just inside the door and also a bowl of rather "stinky" cat food. I pushed a sofa close to that door and slept there all night, hoping I would be aware if he entered. I woke up to find him sitting on the arm of the sofa and staring down at me. I can't even begin to describe how ecstatic I was. MaryL |

LOL, and probably thinking, "What is the bizarre two-foot doing *now*?" I can't even begin to describe how ecstatic I was. I'll bet! Glad you had a happy ending. Kathy, I hope Tibb gives you a happy ending ASAP! (Still purring.) Joyce -- Cats' hearing apparatus is built to allow the human voice to easily go in one ear and out the other. -- Stephen Baker |

This campground is so great that I still feel safe leaving the door open. Kathy |
