Breakthrough!

When I got up in the night, Waffles was on the foot of the bed. He stayed
there when I got up, but got down while I was up. When I woke up this
morning, he jumped onto the bed from the windowsill. He came to me for some
skritching, and after a little bit, He laid partway across me for several
minutes. Eventually he got down. A minute or two later, Pickles came up for
some skritching.

Amazingly, they are. ;-)

Yesterday I was sitting in my recliner and Waffles was reclining on the
couch. Pickles jumped up and began grooming Waffles. After a bit, Waffles
returned the favor, then they both settled down together.
