na aanleiding van dit artikel!
http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/2...nalarm___.html

This is the number of those ELLIS mishandled the kitten. I 0634196201
wrote this song because I think they also agree has been called (I had
previous
kittens week to put marketplace! and thus).
Ellis when I confronted with the telegraph article, she was angry and
I also got her angry husband on the phone who told me nothing
went to what they did with the kittens!
I would say to everyone, not imminent but angry call (else
'I'm your criminalized) and ask if they want to stop the ill-treatment
of Kitten

the article

APELDOORN - Van Raalte to Haarlem, Friesland to Apeldoorn: watch out,
presumably because a Turkish couple is criss-crossing our country for
kittens to get anywhere. Why? In their own words to a good home to the
little ones to offer, but many are now dozens of kittens disappeared without
trace. Cat lovers fear that the soft cuddly creatures have ended as snake
food, or in fur gloves, and store large alarm
!

Wilma Barre Horn from Calcutta on September 19 came into contact with the
pair, and a cats fan himself afterwards for the main store. "What am I
stupid."

Three of her black kittens were retrieved by the two accused. "I had put an
ad on the Internet and almost immediately I was called by someone who spoke
poor English. She wanted for her two year old twins cat collection and like
to make more for her mother."

Same afternoon, the three cats retrieved. "Mohammed, a small balding man, I
think of Turkish descent, was a main driving with a gray station. It was all
very fast. The three were stopped in a small basket. That was not bad,
according to him, but because it was still a chicken piece. I gave them a
last hug and then they were gone. "

Wilma remains behind with an uneasy feeling. That is why they call the phone
number of Turkish couple and speaks in the voice mail. "I wanted to know how
it went. But there was no response."

The sense that something was terribly wrong, when there was only a week
later came a phone call from Friesland. "Mrs A asked me whether I still
wanted those four have cats. She was called by" Ellis' that her poor English
asked if she had the kittens from the ad could fetch. That Mrs said that she
had not been for slaughter. They looked good masters. "Do not eat ', the
Turkish said,' good for animals." When asked about Mrs data are my house
data transmitted. Probably because they just called me that day also had. "

Wilma immediately put an ad with a warning on Market and the victims
druppelden since then with her inside. "The first time Ellis and Mohammed
come from Apeldoorn, the other time from Den Helder. Sometimes they come for
four cats. Two for the children and two for her mother. The next time, the
brother-in-law also kittens. Last, there was a family with six cats. She
called for four, but when the owners noticed that the two still remained
creatures were also included. They pay there quietly for 15 euros per
kitten. " Wilma is convinced that the kids no longer alive. "Turkish people
seem not to have a lot with cats. They are not sold to people who were
looking for a small kitten. That does not pay. The whole country is one with
kittens at this time to peddle. It can really only that they wrong purposes
are retrieved. "

Declaration can not do, because the kittens are retrieved with permission.
"You seem twenty kittens per year to sell, so we would actually they
flagrante with a full car should surprise." Wilma now email each advertiser
with kittens. "It's a lot of work, but I get by. Each kitten that I can
save, is there? N. My advice is: just put in the ad that asks you to a
legitimacy and the two remain away."

Ellis was asked by telephone for a response, but wanted despite repeated
insistence not respond.

For many years now, we have told people never to give kittens away to
people they do not personallu know. They can be used for evil purposes
-- snake food, to train killer dogs, medical experiments (to name just a
few). It makes me sick to even think about it.

Which is? I tried to read the "translation" but couldn't make much sense
out of it. Who the hell is "Ellis"? Are they saying that Turkish people
are responsible for harming kittens, or what?

The gist of it is that according to the newspaper article a Turkish couple
is driving through Holland picking up kittens everywhere they can find them.
Someone began doubting their story (after she let them take 3 kittens from
her), put an ad on the internet, and found several other people that had
given kittens to those Turkish people. Something must be very wrong if one
couple takes in so many kittens at once, especially when they're Turkish or
Moroccan, as in my experience (I live in a neighbourhood with lots of them)
they don't care about pets at all.

Litterbox offerings to the people who posted this **** in a foreign
language
no less for our viewing pleasu NOT. I only speak two languages and
this is one I'm happy not to know, considering.

Considering what, Hopitus ? If people worry about kittens in another
language than your own they're suddenly not important anymore ? And if
someone who can't even read the article throws some neo-Nazi's around you
think it's about that ?

And in case you hadn't noticed, Holland is crawling with anti-Muslim
bigots who would be quite capable of fabricating an unverifiable
story like this one out of thin air.

I can't think of any Turkish name that sounds anything like "Ellis".
"Elis" is a Greek one, and there are variants of "Alice" in most
European languages, but I suspect the whole thing is fictional
anyway.

Cats in Turkey tend to belong to businesses or neighbourhoods rather
than families, but you see more of them than in any Christian country
I've been to and they are mostly looked after reasonably well. I've
never heard of psychos setting dogs on them as happens here.

BTW, one place where concern about pet cats is maybe being taken *too*
far is Azerbaijan (effectively an outlying region of Turkey with more
or less the same language and culture). It's one of the last places
with a lynx population, and habitat destruction since the fall of the
Soviet Union has driven the lynxes to preying on pet cats. The Azeri
response has often been to shoot the lynxes to protect their pets -
there's lots of money floating about from the oil boom but none of it
reaches people in the countryside or goes toward nature conservation.
Got any easy answers to that? I haven't.

You beat me to it. I was going to say no language is foreign if it's your
own. There is some sort of strange idea that everyone should speak English.
