Strange days in SoCal
VERY strange. Hit 99 degrees here today, previous record was 87. Oddly enough, on Sept. 9th, EXACT same record temp was reached, AND exact same previous record was broken! Strangest thing was that I had a cat AND a dog inside with me today. GLyN didn't want to try his usual hiding places, so he came in, and I'm dog sitting so he was here too. GLyN doesn't like dogs, but Monkey Face doesn't want to mess with GLyN, so it has worked out OK. Currently, almost 6pm, and it's 89 outside, and 90 degrees inside, with 3 fans running. The animals clearly feel as bad as I do. |

My cats are both indoor only, and we're all three appreciating the AC. |

This is definitely one of those days when I'm happy to be at work! -- Joyce Whenever you feel anger, you should say, "May I be free of this anger!" This rarely works, but talking to yourself in public will encourage others to leave you alone. |

It is only 54F here right now in the morning going to 70F in the afternoon. Say good bye to Indian summer and time to get my winter coats ready for the fall and winter. Winnie |
