Try this one:

I'd copy and paste it, but it specifically says not to do that without
permission...

Oh, dear, THAT'S funny. *laughs*

Thanks for the link.

The topic is cats. Post all you like. Post what you like. I will do

the
same.

Fair enough.

It's what I love about Usenet.

And it's a hell of a lot fairer than what those poor cats got.

Yep. THREE cats. *Shudder*

Hey look everyone! The old "I'm getting LOTS of support in email" lame!
Wow -- in about 15 years on USENET, Relaynet, and Fidonet, that's the
first time I've **ever** seen that!

Do you know of the excellent ballad, "The Lurkers Support Me in Email"?:

original post to tell me they did it. Not neccessarily in support of
it but that they also did it. Like I said, some of the names would
surprise you. So, maybe your right, maybe not hundreds, but definatley
several here who pose as regulars have e-mailed me in private. Don't
fool yourself.

The Email Support Lame is so prevalent among newbies that it should have
it's own penalty, like Godwin's Law. In this case, I think CEB2's use of
it is pretty much an automatic indication that everything he posts is

suspect and contrived.

What kind of prick mutilates three cats over furniture?

Oh man, yes.

What really gets to me is the matter-of-fact manner in which people who

don't know approach the subject of declawing. Unscrupulous vets have
scored a home run in establishing the myth that declawing is some kind of
"routine" procedure, no big deal, etc. etc.

And that's the sad truth. As long as people don't give the idea a second

thought, the abuse will continue.

As for this moron ceb2 who thinks he "researched" the subject, the less

said the better.

It's The Cat As Object, as near as I can tell.
