Sometimes all you can do is have a friend listen and understand.
Every one of us is sorry to hear the sad news about your companion.
Purrs and hugs to ease your breaking heart. May Fireball find a
peaceful path to walk.

Regards and heart-healing Purrs,
O J

Lisa, I am so very sorry for your loss. Fireball loved you so much and
you loved him back as well. Letting go is the hardest, but most loving
decision one can make for a furbaby.
He'll be well taken care of at the RB by the rpca gang until you come
pick him up again.

I'll light a candle tonight to show him the way to RB. ~The very same one I
blew out this morning, as I thought Simon would be there by then.
So many sad times just lately.

We will light a candle for Fireball's safe journey to the RB. He will be happy there. Condolences and hugs to you. He had a long, happy life with you.

After almost two years of fighting hyper thyroidism and rapid heart beat, Fireball finally gave up. He got a UTI, I got antibiotics and that cleared up quickly, however, Fireball just gave up. He completely quit eating. I force fed him on Thurs., I tried everything. Fri. was my birthday, and I went to bed crying. I knew I would have to make a decision. Sat. I tried raw hamburger, nothing. I took him to the emergency vet. I didn't want him to have to wait until Mon. The vet. was great, she even gave me a hug and said that it sounded like he was telling me that it was time. Eighteen years ago I saw him being born, and yesterday, I saw him leave. Fireball loved me more than any cat I have ever had. He would follow me where ever I went and just look at me. I miss my tiny boy.

Thanks, Lisa.
