I am so devastated, but the procedure was gentle and I got some peace
out of it. Now it is just the overwhelming grief to deal with.
Surprising, making the decision was hard, acting on the decision was
hard. Living with the consequences are easy. I know he is at peace and
that gives me a huge amount of comfort.

Please reply to if you wish to reach me

Thank you all for your support and your purrs and prayers. I am sure
they made a difference where they were supposed to make a difference.

So sorry, missed all this being a Brit and in bed when it all kicked off
because of the time difference.
We only get lent them for a while.

I'm so sorry, Bridget. This blew up out of nowhere giving you no time
to prepare. Tony must have been a wonderful fellow,
and it's so hard to let a beloved animal go, even for the most humane
reasons. I think you've been very brave. It may seem impossible to
believe now, but you won't feel this sad forever.

{{{{Bridget}}}} Tony was another of the great ones. So sad that he had
to leave us already. Comforting purrs on the way for you.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Tony.

As hard as it was, you made the right decision; the one Tony would have
asked for, if he could. But he let you know it was 'time', nonetheless.

I have lit candle for Tony, in my special candle holder in the shape of
a sleeping cat.

Purrs for your poor broken heart - and a candle lit to help guide Tony to
Rainbow Bridge. He'll be in fine company there.

I'm so sorry Bridget, it's hard to let them go. I've been there myself and
there is nothing anyone can do or say to make it better. Purrs and hugs
from all of us here.
