[OT] Morning bliss.

Its pupil free day at the Yowlet's school, so he's sleeping in, as is
his father. Fluffy is still in the garage. Pickle is snoozing on the
lounge, Suki is goodness-knows-where but she hasn't noticed I'm awake
and therefore she isn't trying to become One with my neck.

The house is still, save for the small movement of my fingers on the
keyboard.

I've had my coffee, checked my e-mail & NGs, and fiddled with Farmville.
There's a pause here between morning chores and getting ready for work -
often its only microseconds long as we are usually running late, and
even when we're on-time this pause is usually filled with the sounds of
Spongebob on TV, or Cary asking me a million-and-one questions. But not
this morning. This morning I am purposely extending that pause so I can
savour something rare and precious in my life:

Quiet.

Better get moving, all this quiet just sends me back to sleep.

Its a beautiful sound though.
