Archie is missing again
Hi the
You all might remember my daughter's teacher's cat Archie who escaped out of the house in the winter last year and was gone a full two weeks in -20 weather before being turned into the humane society? He escaped through a screen at night two weeks ago and they didn't realize it. They haven't seen him since. They know that he came back during the night because he left a mouse on the patio but he never came back in the morning. She is just sick about it since they are on the edge of town backing on a rural coyote populated area. Any spare purrs for a second miracle for Archie would be most appreciated. His mom cares about him very much. Susan M Otis and Chester |

His mom cares about him very much. I've got plenty of spare purrs here, because we've all been purring for Smudge non-stop to get herself home, and I certainly know how your friend feels right now!! I don't even want to call his return a "miracle", because I've been focusing on all the stories of kitties who've come home after walkabouts, and I'd like to think of that as not being unusual. I'm hoping Archie's walkabout is a short one! Joyce |

His mom cares about him very much. Susan M Otis and Chester Your daughter's teacher obviously needs more secure screens for Archie. Cheryl recently posted a link to some expandable screens she bought to fit *inside* her regular screens. The purpose was to keep her cats from pushing the permanent screens out, so it sounds like they would also work for Archie. She said it only took 4 days to receive them. I'm not sure if it was on this newsgroup or another one, but this is the link she provided: http://www.doityourself.com/invt/9406372 MaryL |
