i've finally gone for medical advice. i have not only fractured my shoulder but i have dislocated it too. the x-ray is spectacular. my shoulder bone is under my arm instead of being in the right place and the fracture is a piece of loose bone chipped off and floating around. That sounds extremely painful! Like maybe even the second or third most painful trauma you've had in the past few years. I imagine I'd need to become a bare knuckle fighter before I could fully appreciate that level of pain. I hope that it will feel much better after they've moved the joint back into place. |

I wish i had, now. tweed Oh serious OUCH! I'm so sorry to hear this. If it makes you feel any better, I would have done the same thing. More than once, I've had my friends and family up in arms when they found out that I didn't go to the doctor when they thought I should. Several of those times, I ended up in the hospital (one of those times, the doctor had to 'trick' me into it!) It's always been my belief that if I'm upright and lucid, I'm all right. Yeah. I hope it's easily fixed. Take care of yourself! Boyfriend needs you. We need you. Jane - owned and operated by the Princess Rita |

Lots of purrs for a successful treatment and hoping you'll soon be pain free. -- Adrian they assure me that once my shoulder is back in place it will be easier with pain, but it depends if they can do it after two and and a half weeks of me pretending i can do it myself. it was boyfriend that caused it, i fell over him winding around my feet for his continual appetite problem. this is the second time time i have fallen over him last time i broke my ribs. my doctor says if you fall over your cat twice and break bones it's time to get rid of it. i think not. tweed Wondering! Did you have to have surgery on your shoulder (ouch!)? How is Boyfriend holding up? He doesn't have an appetite "problem" IMHO he does what cats (and other) animals do: spend their time hunting food and sleeping. The getting underfoot thing can be a real problem that is why I go around saying "move, move, move". Unincorporated SLC has now started a cat licensing law. I wonder how this will work out? If you are "elderly" you can get a "lifetime" rate of one time for $5.00. Being in that category and TuTu turned 14, I wonder how long that will be? LOL. Best wishes for your shoulder and your starving kitty cat. MLB |

Archer has a bad habit of trying to "strop" my legs as I'm going down the
stairs. When I was physically able it wasn't a problem I could push him out of the way with one foot... now, however, I fear that he's going to make me trip and break something else. -- Hugs, CatNipped See all our masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped See the RPCA FAQ site, by Mark Edwards, at: http://www.professional-geek.com/rpcablog/ Email: L(dot)T(dot)Crews(at)comcast(dot)net "MLB" wrote in message ...
