OT newsreader suggestion please
Sorry to bother you with this topic that has been discussed not so long ago.
I should have taken notes. Now, my newsreader, Mailgate, has been shutting me out every evening about the time I want to read this newsgroup. Would someone please recommend a free, reliable reader that carries this group? I don't care about bells and whistles, just some plain vanilla easy to use service. I've got Windows xp and use Outlook. I'll take notes this time. Annie |

I've used news.individual.de for a couple of years, never had a
problem with it. Also available as news individual.net - they're the same service. My preference is news.individual.(net|de) with Mozilla Thunderbird for the newsreader. Easy to use, very flexible, pretty fast, far less bloated than Outlook Express or Netscape. Dan |

It has been frustrating to try to get to the computer when the newsgroup is availble to read. Sometimes it has been quitting on me when I'm in the middle of a response. Then I have to wait until the next morning to see if it was even sent. I was having RPCA withdrawal. Annie |
