So does anyone here "hit" their cats?

Oh, no, never. I even gave up the squirt bottle years ago. I generally just
clap my hands and scold them if they're acting up. It doesn't really matter.
Whatever they're doing, they're gonna do it after I go to bed anyway.

Neither do I hit my cats. Just loud hand clapping and loud NO's. But
you're right they just wait until I'm not around to see them and do what
they want anyway. LOL. Funny thing is our 4 older (~ 8 weeks old)
foster kittens all come running when I say "here baby kitties" or clap
loudly.
