I heard that noise again
You know, the one that's sort of like a Meow but isn't complete
because something is blocking it. Urr. Urr. Urrr. That means Marlo is coming. And she has something in her mouth. It's almost always a waterbug. She has this thing for waterbugs. The other cats will look at them and display a bit of interest but then wander away. She likes to play with them, and she had one this time. I don't want to know where she got it. They are so disgusting. I don't know what it is that makes it so, but there is just something visceral in my reaction to them. I was lying in bed, reading, and I heard the noise. Please Marlo, don't bring it up here. She entered the bedroom, and went into the corner with it. I'm sure I'll find the carcass soon. |

Once upon a time I saw Persia pick one up and start to eat it. She walked towards me with bug legs dangling from the corner of her mouth. EWWWWWW! A couple of days ago she pounced on, played with, then ate a spider. Chomp chomp, gulp. Again, please no bug breath. How about you eat some kibble and have a nice cool drink of water? Jill |

I would hear that sound and then see Holly coming down the hall toward me. Fortunately, her gift to me was always a little red (toy) mouse, not a real waterbug/palmetto bug. They are disgusting, but she always brought the same little suede-covered red mouse. I considered it a gift, and I loved it. Someone told me Holly was "trying to teach me how to hunt." Obviously, I did not know the correct way to do it! MaryL |

Bugs aren't supposed exist in the same scale as humans. She entered the bedroom, and went into the corner with it. I'm sure I'll find the carcass soon. Jill Rusty (RB) loved to eat houseflies. He caught and ate them, despite having nice cat food available to him. Guess he considered them snacks. Wish he is still here to rid the flies for me. -- Winnie |

I heard the noise again today. Luckily she was just carrying one of those twisty tie things. I generally don't leave those around because I don't want one getting swollowed, but she got one and it wasn't goiing to get away! I received it and let her know what a mighty hunter she was. |
