Default A Hissing Cat

My pet cat who is 10 years old continues to hiss at my other cat who
is 8. She has done this since we got the younger cat. After 8 years
they don't fight as much anymore but the older cat still hisses. They
are both female. Has anyone had any similar experiences with their
cats and if so is there any way to solve it? Thanks

My 6 year old female hisses at our 1 year old male but he chases her
every chance he gets. I didn't know a cat could hiss and run at the same
time! He hisses at my mother in law every morning when she opens the
bedroom door - wish I could too

After 8 years? No, I think the hissing is just auto response. Their ok.
Believe it or not, even cats who appear to not like each other apprecieate
the company.
