It looks like the sun is going to be setting soon. Go straight on through the castle - the garden is on the other side, and you can reach it through the dining room and the ball room. Sammy, I think I might have heard Lilith looking for you. And Harri, I think OT might have been looking for you. [Sammy and Harri follow Amelia's directions and find their way to the castle's large garden. Right next to the door is the guestbook table. Harri meows to Mosey and signs "Harri Roadcat, house of Mahoney". Sammy signs "Samuel Redcat, house of Mahoney". Each takes a rainbow hanky, as they expect that the calling of names is going to be rather tearful.] A beautiful Jaguar speeds up the road leading to the castle and screeches to a stop before the gates. Four cats disembark and rush in to the castle. The kitty in the lead, wearing a disheviled and rumpled trench coat, meows "I don't think they've done the Final Calling of Names yet. We're not too late." They approach the guest book table and sign in: Darius and *Maria Lechat Jacques and Bridget Chat-Clouseau They look around the crowded garden and head towards the cushion where Amelia is reclining. When they reach Amelia she introduces them: "Bobcat, I'd like you to meet the late Mme. Anais' uncle and aunt, Darius and Maria Lechat. And these are the famous Inspector Jacques Chat-Clouseau and his wink Bridget. Kitties, this is Bobcat. He has attended several Jellicle Balls before. The kitty that owns him, Misty, is aroudn here somewhere." Misty comes back from her socializing (and a bit of Halloween fun) and Bobcat is right behind. "Amelia Thamk you for all your help, but it is time for me to get The Bobcat home. Purrrchance do you know someone with some of the Special Mint Tea in dry form to take back with me ?? The last thing I need is a heaving Bobcat once we get home. Sunday is going to be a very Busy Day for Bobcat, and Calypso, after which there is the Day of the Dead Processional. With the Full Moon waning I myself am in need of a Catnap. Again thank you for your kindness, and hope to at least chat with you again soon, but will definitely see you same time next year for sure." With goodbyes said Misty leads Bobcat out of Castle and around to where she parked the Teleporter. She crams the Bobcat into the Teleporter, closes the hatch, and soon there is the whining sound of the Teleporter getting ready to jump to light speed. Bobcat can be heard saying, "There is no place like home. There is no place like home." The next thing he knows he is indeed back home with a massive headache. Calypso greets his Pack Leader, and Misty.... well she having gotten her human back home, gotten him some Special Mint Tea to help quiet his quizziness and massive headache, has decided that indeed there is no place like home and has curled up in his lap purring herself to sleep, with dreams of this year's Jellicle Ball still fresh in her mind. |

Would you mind crediting it to "Louise" instead of just "L.L."? I think that sounds more dignified. Lizzie (RB) once tried to teach me part of the job, but she gave up when she thought I wasn't interested. Actually I just wasn't capable of it. She was trying to teach me how to hunt, the same way her mother taught her. Adam |
