Who's a clever girl?
I needed to scoop the litter this morning but being a bad slave I
forgot to bring a fresh bag in last night so I ran over to the shop but they were sold out but it's not too bad I'll do it tonight I thought. Dave just emailed me, Bonnie came into the bathroom, sniffed the litter, evidently decided it wasn't good enough for her and hoped onto the loo and had a wee in the toilet! No-one so far as I know has attempted to train her to do this (We haven't anyway) maybe she's just watched us (like all cats the sight of a Hoomin on the porcelain throne means "come running for skritchies") and worked out "If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me" If she can only teach Sarsi we might never need to buy litter again! (Those bags as we all know are pretty heavy!) Clever kitten! Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |

Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs I once had a cat who taught herself to use the toilet, Prissy Sissy With The Sassy Tail - haven't had one since though, mores the luck. -- Hugs, CatNipped See all our masters at: http://www.PossiblePlaces.com/CatNipped See the RPCA FAQ site, created by "Yowie", maintained by Mark Edwards, at: http://www.professional-geek.net/rpcablog/ Email: L(dot)T(dot)Crews(at)comcast(dot)net |

Cats do learn by copying what they see, but they don't actually see what's going on *in* the toilet. Somehow she worked out that sitting on the toilet equals peeing, not just petting. If she can only teach Sarsi we might never need to buy litter again! Clever kitten! I'll say! Joyce -- What I look forward to, is continued immaturity, followed by death. -- Dave Barry |
