Yup, that's the one. Cryptococcus. Notice the name of the yeast, crypto
means death in greek.

Hi Victor,

We use Itraconazole a lot in cats with ringworm infections
(also a fungus). It is also available in a liquid form
that is kind of cherry flavored. The liquid is usually used
for fungal infections of the mouth, but works for all fungal
infections. It is a lot easier to use this form for cats -
both in dosage and administration.
Cherry doesn't seem to be a cat favorite flavor, but they
don't hate it as much as the pill form and giving an accurate
dose orally with a syringe is much easier.
