I missed Mir's adoption day

Miranda's adoption day was on the 24th of March, but I didn't remember
until yesterday. To celebrate, I dug out my 'Mere' posts from back then
(2005) and read what I wrote about her first days with me. I'd forgotten
all the mischief! I'd forgotten how Frank tried to be friends with her.
I'd forgotten that she spent almost every waking moment in my arms - she
doesn't spend much time in my lap any more. Probably because it is so
often occupied by Caliban these days.
