All great news! I hope you find the culprits, soon! Lis- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Bad news is that the cat with organ failure died the day before yesterday, I have only just found out. I really do feel for them. It must be terrible;o( Oh, that's too bad. I am very sorry. We were 2 days late because of the Bank Holiday, but today Ringo had his stitches taken out of underneath his leg joint where they had to pin him and also from his face too. ( it looked ever so painful because some of the new scab had formed over it ..Ouch!!) His face is fine, but still looks a little odd where the fur & Whiskers are still missing because they had to shave him. And his Leg brace has been removed and replaced with a much smaller version on the top of the leg & firmly strapped. We go back in 4 days again to see if he can have the whole thing off. He looks a lot better all round and we are amazed @ how much mobility he has with the new strap. He is using all 4 paws occasionally, but 3 if he is tired... ( which isn't often given his slave's devotion, lol;o) He has spent most of the last 10 days laying out in the cat run on his back with all 4 paws in the air catching rays, lol... It is really nice to see him back to his almost normal self S;o) Great to hear! I'm sure he'll be running the household in short order. Lis |

Lis- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I thought so too( I don't know the family, so I don't feel emotionally involved, but I certainly feel for them. It doesn't take too much to imagine how wretched they must feel, not to mention the anger & frustration... I am getting second hand bits of info from an0other family also affected that know them better than the rest of us do... Oh, Believe me Lis, he is... Mind you, Lucy(fur!!), is doing quite well at slapping him down to size, lol. She is only half his size, but thinks nothing of having a slapping face match contest with him when she feels that he needs slapping into shape .. (or rather the size of his head, lol;o) The funniest bit is the kids crowing about who's cat came off best after a feisty fist match. We have to watch them quite closely though because of Ringo's face wound which is nice, & crusty and dry now. You can see that it is itching him though, by the amount of wet paw cleaning around it... It reminds me of when Paul broke his arm, & tried itching inside the cast with one of my knitting needles, which he proclaimed was the best thing in the world to itch inside the cast with......Until the Number 9 size needle bit came off inside the cast, lol.. It drove him batty for weeks.... Oh boy I wish the kids were back @ School... They are all so bored. I must be getting Really ancient because I don't understand what there is to be bored about?? We didn't have PS66's, WII's, X Boxes & every other digital implements that there are today. We just went out & came back when our tummies told us it was time to..... Never mind, In this country when you get to 65, you have a bus pass to look forward to & a free TV licence when you get to 75( when most people drop dead in other words...) Not even fresh air is free here now with environment tax. But I don't mind paying that one, it's the rest of them that get up my nose, lol) S;o) |
