Abelard steals the meat

I was cutting up a piece of meat - part of a buffalo's leg - to
separate it from the bone which I want to use for soup stock. I was
going to grind up the meat and use it in a home-made catfood recipe,
but I first sliced up some little bits to toss as treats to the feline
hoard gathered at my feet.

As I was giving out the morsels, with my back to the cutting board and
remaining meat, Abelard snuck in and grabbed a chunk that must have
weighed nearly a pound, and ran off with it. He is now heavily focused
on consuming the whole thing, and he's got a large audience.

It's a good thing cats can growl while eating.
