cat art goes conceptual
I answered an ad on the Edinburgh Gumtree small ads site from
an art student who wanted to collect the purrs of 100 cats for a project. After a couple of misunderstandings she came round today and recorded a few of ours on her Edirol digital recorder (Splodge and Ollie weren't in a purry mood). Her idea is to build a shed which will let loose with all of those purrs when you walk into it, like a small cathedral of purr. I can't wait to see the finished article. ==== j a c k at c a m p i n . m e . u k === http://www.campin.me.uk ==== Jack Campin, 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland == mob 07800 739 557 CD-ROMs and free stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, and Mac logic fonts |

I want to go into a cathedral of purrs!
We already get a kick of putting our head between the sisters and getting purrs in surround-sound. --Fil |

Do you think she'll post a web site for it? If so, please let us know. I love the idea and would love to see it. Another reason to visit Scotland. Pam S. who already has tons of reasons to go there |
