Default I found the needle!

Well, actually, Pickles found it, but it's okay.

A few days ago I posted about the possibility that Waffles might have
swallowed a needle with a length of thread attached. X-rays proved this not
to be true, but I had no idea where the needle was. I was a little
concerned about the possibility that one of the cats might yet eat it, or of
my stepping on it.

This morning, Pickles rolled over, as she does when she wants her tummy
rubbed. As I reached over to oblige, I saw that there was some sort of
string on her. I picked it off so she wouldn't swallow it, and then saw
that it was my thread, with the needle still attached. Now I know for sure
everything is all right.

Great!!! *I* was worried about that darn needle, so I can imagine how
much you were. I'm so glad you found it.

Phew! What a relief.
I've always been the worst needlewoman in the world and it gives me even
more excuse not to even try.
I can sew buttons on is all. I just have no talent for it and had a
dreadful time at school in the needlework class.
I can, however, build a chicken hut and nestboxes for wild birds (which are
always occupied, they seem to like them.)

What a relief! I would always have that nagging at me, knowing it was
somewhere in the house. Glad you don't have to worry about that anymore!
