Update as of 7/8/03: homeless man and kittens
I think the guy is a con artist. All last week, the guy didn't have
the kittens with him at all. On Monday morning and this morning, he had them back again. This guy is working a scam. How do you have kittens one week, and then not another when you're homeless? You can't *store* them anywhere! My heart is no longer aching for this guy and his friends. Shame on him for stirring up compassion in my heart!!!! |

Why don't you just ask the man about the kittens? Most homeless people are
just people like you and me who are down on their luck. It sounds as if he is on a public street with people around so that you would be safe talking with him. You might find out that he is just a very kind person, who loves cats and appreciates the help that provide by giving him the cat food.
